B&G Christmas Around the World Plates

In 1989, B&G issued the first of a series of six annual Christmas plates called The Santa Claus Collection.  They are 8 inches in diameter, full color with gold highlights on a porcelain plate and feature the artwork of Hans Henrik Hansen.  This series proved to be so popular than Royal Copenhagen began a similar series in 1991 called Christmas in Denmark. These plates are also 8" in diameter, full color with gold highlights on a porcelain plate, with artwork of Hans Henrik Hansen.  In 1995, following the completion of the Santa Claus Collection, B&G began a new series of six similar plates called Christmas Around the World.  Again, same size, same material and production techniques, same artist, slightly different border.  This last series was completed in 2000.

All the following plates are mint condition, first quality; all have box and cerificate EXCEPT those marked "(NB)"  for No Box. Original Issue Price of each plate was the same as the regular Christmas plate for that year.  You can see a picture of each plate by clicking on any title listed in Blue.
