United States Military Academy Plates
Wedgwood issued its first set of College Plates for the United States Military Academy (West Point) in 1933: 12 different views, produced in blue or red, transfer printed onto a 10.25 inch diameter Queensware (earthenware) plate, with a border featuring various shields of the school, floral swags, and military trophies. These plates were reissued at various times, but always with the same views. In addition, Wedgwood produced cups/saucers and six-inch bread and butter plates with borders that match the dinner plates but no central view.
All plates were produced by Wedgwood and are in excellent condition.
